An early start this morning but later than intended. I had hoped to go on deck for the arrival but looking out the sun was failing to peek through the clouds so the view was not particularly picturesque. We went ashore after a quick breakfast on a tour that turned out to be different to the one we booked – we booked Fira but ended up seeing Oia & Fira on the island of Thira; then bus took us up the winding road from the main port, and the cable car took us down.
I don’t think we could tire of the walk around Oia and the magic views of white houses and the sea. We did not linger long in Fira and headed down and back to the tenders.
